H R Jothipala is legendary Sri Lankan singer , whose Songs are hits top even after two decades of his death. Most of the songs he sang in to Indian Hindi Song melodies. This is one of the song I heard recently and likes it..

This is one of the song which tremble my heart, Soul , everything , This is a song which compares the eternal love between Mother and Wife. I feel this song doesn’t undervalue the Wife’s love. This song tells Wife’s love gone in curve of Yodha Ela , which is one of the wonder engineering product by Sri Lankan ancestors, Which downwards one inch per Mile , That tells how slowly you are loosing Wife’s Love most of the time. This Song sung by Kapuge , But written by Ranbanda Senevirathne from his real life extract .
I know is this a favourite of so many of my friends but Kapuge Sang this song with Sunflowers with western music. That makes Ranbanda Senavirathne angry with Kapuge and had Several arguments between them , I heard one time Ranbanda request Kapuge to call him as Sir instead of his name because by doing this Kapuge is not equal to him anymore, He has become a Wasalaya or so call lower class man.
